Mary Barnes, age 90, died on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at her home. She was born in Athens, AL, on July 30, 1930, a retired school secretary for the Giles County School System, and a member of Bethel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Arnold and Mollie Adeline Adams Johnson, her husband, Humpy Barnes, and her brother, Glenn Johnson. Funeral Services will be made at a later date. Survivors are: her son, Tracy Barnes and Cindy of Stella, her daughter, Dawn McCormack of Stella, her sister, Carolyn Cheatham of Athens, her grandchildren, Hunter McCormack and Angela, Nash Davis, Clint Barnes, Mary Hannah Osborn and Justin, and Clair Barnes, and her 6 great grandchildren.
