She was born in Giles County, TN on June 24, 1924, retired from Fafnir, her parents were the late Herman and Carrie Mae Dawes Tarpley, preceded in death by son, Frank Hickman and daughter, Judy Bentley, member of the Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ, an active member in the Lynnville Community.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, 2-28-2012, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 2-29-2012, at 11:00AM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Lynnwood Cemetery.

Survivors are: husband, Raymond W. Hickman of Lynnville, TN, son, Dennis Hickman and wife Susan of Lynnville, TN, grandchildren, Corey Hickman, Wesley Hickman, Chad Grissom, Tyler Hickman, Mary Taylor Hickman, great grandchildren, Max and Brett Grissom.
