

Nancy Retta Angus Wright, age 67, passed away at her home in Pulaski surrounded by her family on March 25, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was retired from the Giles County Board of Education where she was a school bus driver for 30 years, she attended the Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family, and coloring, embroidering, traveling, quilting, flowers, her church, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Perrin Wright, her parents James Wilson and Rennie Lee McGee Angus, her brothers Robert Lee Angus, James Elmer Angus, and Charles Wilson Angus, her sister Mary Louise Angus Overstreet, her sister Norice Jean Angus Black, niece Peggy Ruth Overstreet, and her nephews Markus Konrad Cummins and Sidney Dwayne Angus.
Survivors include her daughter Retta Lee Sumners of Pulaski, her son Scooter Sumners and wife Beth of Lynnville, her grandsons Dylan Koal and Owen Adair Sumners, her granddaughter Carter Elizabeth Sumners, her brothers Sidney Bryant and wife Nora Angus of Murfreesboro, David Frank and wife Faye Angus of Lawrenceburg, and her sisters Marie and husband Gilmore Tarpley of Pulaski, Frances Koren Reeves of Pulaski, and Judy Ann Angus and husband Harry Locke of Lynnville.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Burial to follow at Lynnwood Cemetery.
