Mrs. Tankersley was preceded in death by her husband Evan Arthur Tankersley, Sr. and was a homemaker.
Visitation will be Sunday November 21, 2010 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday November 22, 2010 with interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bunker Hill Church of God.
Survivors include her sons Evan Tankersley and wife Wanda of Pulaski, Alvan Tankersley, Jerry Tankersley both of Kenansville, Florida, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
