He was born in Giles County, TN on April 4, 1945, a member of the National Guard for 14 years, a 32nd Degree Mason, belonged to the Al Menah Temple, was a member of Pulaski Elks Lodge, the American Legion and the Frankewing Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Rogers and Velna Alene Whitworth Holley, his brothers, Carl and Jerry Holley, and his sisters, Willa Mae Greene, Deloris Holland Beckum, Martha Delaney and Elwyona Lanier.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 60 or the Shriners Childrens Hosptal, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, KY 40508
Survivors include his wife, Barbara M. Holley of Pulaski, his sons, Rory Holley and Eali of Pulaski and Kelly Holley and Beth of Pulaski, his grandchildren, Lauren Cox, Paige Edmundson, Grayson Holley, Morgan Holley, Tanner Holley, Layten Dunnavant, and Talyr Glover, his great grandchildren, Paxton Davis Cox and Asa Benton Glover.
