Her Parents were the late Rayburn Floyd and Susan Elizabeth Biggerstaff Wales and her husband was the late Fred Thorne. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rebecca Hodges and Geneva Hogan, and her brother, Elvie Wales.
Survivors include her sister, Evelyn Maddox of Clements, AL, her nieces, Ava Gilbert Adams of Clements, Al, Kay Coffman of Athens, and Lea Ann Coffman of Athens, her nephews, James Hodges and Dennis Maddox, both of Elkmont, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2018. Burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
