Mr. Burns was born March 2, 1931 in Louisville, KY to John Oliver and Mary Evelyn Bassye Burns. He was an Army Veteran, retired heavy equipment operator, and was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Frances Burns and twin brother Warren Burns.
Visitation will be Monday March 21, 2022 from 12-2pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral Services to follow at 2pm. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors include his sons Walter Burns, Jr. of Lynnville, Tony Burns and Kristie Howell of Pulaski, grandchildren Cherry Elaine Burns, Christina Sue Burns, Christopher Boyd Ables, great grandchildren Blossom Oceana Huntley and Zane Blake Brymer.
