Mrs. Jones was born June 8, 1940 to Harlin Chester and Johnella Parker Castell, Sr.. She was a retired housekeeper at St. Thomas Hospital and was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Virginia Mae Whitby, son Richard Lee Chapman and a daughter Pamela Sue Gordon.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 4, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday September 4, 2012 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband James Jones of Pulaski, daughter Gloria Dawn Daniel of Nashville, brother Harlin Casteel, Jr. of Columbia sisters Doris E. Scott of Columbia, and Zady Rose of Pulaski, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
