

She worked many years at Hillside Hospital as a ward secretary and upon retirement opened and operated the Tea Room in Lynnville, TN. Wilma continued her education with Interior Decorating. She loved flowers, doing yard work, and took great pride in it. Most of all Wilma was a homemaker, wife and mother, always putting her family first. She had a great sense of humor and loved to smile and laugh. Wilma was a Christian and a member of Lynnville Baptist Church in Lynnville, TN.
Wilma was born June 14, 1937 in Old 23rd District of Henry County to Lemuel and Jennie Mae Medlock Richardson. She is proceeded in death by her parents Lemuel and Jennie Mae; husband of 68 years James C. Bomar; daughter Melanie Bomar; three sisters Saline Arnold, Jean Wells, Jane Warren; four brothers Kenneth Richardson, Harwell Richardson, Basil Richardson, and V.B Richardson; Parent-in-laws Curtis and Jewel Bomar, brother-in-laws Howard Wells, Lee Bomar, Jimmy Shankle, Nolen Hicks, sister-in-law Mary Jane Bass.
She is survived by her two daughters Donna Malugin (Billy) of Lynnville, Jamie Valentine (Jim) of Pulaski; son Craig Bomar of Pulaski; Joyce Thompson of Pulaski; brother Warren Richardson (Kay) of Paris, TN; six grandchildren Jan Crutcher (Kevin), Shawn Malugin, Sara Boatright (Will), Melanie Old, Shea Richardson (Shane), Jacey Bomar; seven great grandchildren John Crutcher, Clara Crutcher, Braxton Richardson, Conner Richardson, Addie Richardson, Elijah Lude King, and Silas Boatright; brother in laws David Arnold, Gerald Bomar (Carol), Randy Bomar (Brenda), Harold Bass, sisters-in-law Carolyn Shankle, Peggy Hicks, Brenda Wagner (Sonny), and Val Bomar.
Arrangements are being handled by Carr and Erwin Funeral Home 1228 E. College Street Pulaski, TN 38478 where visitation will be 5-8pm on Tuesday January 5, 2026. The Funeral Service will be 1pm on Wednesday January 6, 2026 at Carr and Erwin followed by burial at Giles Memory Gardens Pulaski, TN with Danny Jones and Arthur Payne officiating.
