John A. Riley, age 91 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away June 29, 2022. He was born on April 4, 1931 in Haw River, NC. John served in the US Navy for 9 years and retired from 7 UP Bottling Company. John was a member of the American Legion, Elks, the Moose Lodge and the VFW. He is survived by his wife, Myrna; his 2 sons and 2 daughters; 5 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; and 11 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his grandson. A private family burial with Military Honors will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery on July 6, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice.
