Ruth Annette Graff, 86, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away Sunday April 24, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and great grandmother. Ruth was born March 1, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to Charles and Svea Jackson and grew up in Wantagh, Long Island, NY. Mrs. Graff moved from New York 60 years ago to Miami, FL and retired in Clearwater and then moved to Punta Gorda, FL. She was a Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing for over 40 years, retiring in 1998. Mrs. Graff was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Graff. She is survived by her sons, Charles P. Graff, Peter D. Graff, Mark R. Graff, and Paul A. Graff; daughter-in-laws, Maureen Graff and Rosemarie Graff; grandchildren, Daniel Graff, Kristen Buchanon, Jennifer Ivie, Rebekah Graff, Katelyn Graff, and Jaclyn Graff; and 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. Graff enjoyed traveling and boating throughout her retirement. Her passion was for reading and crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home; 635 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
