Carl L. Ziemer

June 18, 1922 – May 5, 2015

Dad was reunited with his high school sweetheart Lois; his wife of 75 years. He was a World War II Purple Heart veteran and our family’s hero. He was a craftsman who built everything from furniture to homes. He shared his building knowledge with his son and grandsons. Dad was quick with a smile and funny story. He was an all-around good guy. He and Lois traveled and moved extensively. He was a supportive dad to Ken and Sheryll Ziemer, Connie and Harlow Hogenson, Helen Randles, a loving grandpa to David and Jane Randles, Doug and Kerri Randles, Jeane Randles, Glen Hogenson, Ryan Hogenson, Julie and Eric Gabriel, Adriane Ziemer, and Susan and Rob Ciaccio, and a great grandpa to Briyanna and J.R. Boehme, Katie, Libby, and Jenny Gabriel, Dylan and Alexis Hogenson, and Amy and Jackie Randles. We were lucky to have Dad for almost 93 years. A private family service will be held Saturday.
