Dale Marvin Rees

Dale Marvin Rees, born November 6, 1941, passed away on July 19, 2016 after a five year battle with cancer. A retired longshore Forman, he was a handy man at everything. He maintained rentals, built 2 homes, and built all of the greenhouses for the family business, "Heart of the Valley Greenhouse". For the last ten years he has enjoyed many hours on his boat, fishing, crabbing and shrimping with family and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lois Rees, son, Brent Collins, and brother, Lynn Rees. He is survived by his wife Marla; sons, Greg and Steven; daughter in law Tracie; grandson Ethan, granddaughter Rylie, brother, Wayne (Sandy) and sister, Sue Beagley. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, August 5th at 1:00 at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. Remembrances can be made in his memory to St. Vincent De Paul, St. Martin of Tours Conference, 2130 54th Ave. East, Fife, WA. 98424. Dale's spirit will always be with us.
