Mom passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. Born in 1919 in Solomon, KS to Charles and Nellie Higgins. Erma is preceded in death by her husband, Bill and son Norman. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Joyce Roberts (Jim), Lynette Wilson (Jim), Norma Giefer (Mike), 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Erma had been a member of the Puyallup Methodist Church for 50 years. She was an active member of TOPS for 40 years, and worked for Sears for 30 years until the Puyallup catalog store closed. Upon retirement Erma enjoyed volunteering in the primary grades at schools in Sumner and Puyallup. Erma loved people and was feisty right to the end. We will all miss her wit and dry sense of humor. The memorial service will be held, Friday, May 31 at 1:00 pm at the Puyallup United Methodist church on 1919 W. Pioneer.
