Born in Tacoma, WA as Frances Charlotte Webb on January 18, 1918, married to the love of her life, Robert Longabaugh, on June 21, 1941, passed peacefully away on December 16, 2015. Charlotte was 97 years old and just a month short of her 98th birthday. In those 97 years, Charlotte was daughter, a sister with 4 siblings, and a wife with the most wonderful man (Papa) you ever had the pleasure of knowing. She retired from S.H. Kress & Co. as the assistant store manager. Charlotte and Robert had four daughters that they lovingly raised at their home on Pioneer Way in Puyallup, WA; Phyllis Piatti, Sue Diedrich, Margaret Fillo, and Marleen Longabaugh. Those daughters had eight grand children. Those eight grand children gave Charlotte 14 great grandchildren. Charlotte loved each and every one of us unconditionally and taught us the value of family but did not hesitate to give you a good scolding with a shake of her finger. Charlotte and Robert had property in Winthrop WA for many years where the family spent a great deal of time and have many fond memories. She was a lover of gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting, water aerobics, and family. To meet charlotte was to lover her. She will be greatly missed by so many but lives on in our hearts, memories, and spirit. Charlotte lived a long and happy life. Please honor her by taking a few minutes to share your favorite story of her. She would like that. Please visit her guestbook at www.powersfuneralhome.com
