Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your father and grandfather. Fred and May were long time friends of my parents(Melvin and Charlotte Ryan). They were neighbors on South Thompson in Tacoma in the 1950's. Through out the years they kept in contact with one another. Fred did some wood work at my parents house when we first moved in(1960's). Fred will be missed.

My sincere condolences to Fred and the Koury family. I knew Mr Koury and had several good conversations over the years and I valued his wisdom and friendship. He was a fine man and I'm sorry for your loss.

I didn't know Fred, but anyone who raises goats in his backyard is OK by me.  Condolences to the Koury family and friends.

To the Koury and Hattin Families. We have lost a wonderful man that was so enjoyable to be with and we feel your pain too. We knew Fred for almost twenty years. There is not a single time we ever saw him mad or angry. What a gift he gave to those who loved him. And what a gift the Hattins' were to him also. They are Angels in the  eyes of our God. Grandpa, the wonderful times I had with you & Grandma growing up meant the world to me.  Your calm, loving way & sweet demeanor were a life saver at times.  Kevin & Chad were like cousins to me instead of Uncles.  I always felt loved by you & Grandma.  For that I will always be greatful.  Your Granddaughter, I love you, Robyn Rae

So sorry for your loss! We played Cribbage with Fred at Puyallup Valley Peggers. He was a great opponent and so much fun to play against - even though he usually was the victor!  Will miss him greatly!

To Family and Friends of Mr. Koury Sr., my family and I send our most sincere condolense at the loss of a great man and a wonderful "Friend".  As but one of many neighbors, we actually shared several memorable moments.  Fred touched the very essence of my families life with his unbounded generosity, purity in truth and mentorship of life's many lessons. Dear Cousins,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad,  he was my Mom, Mable's brother, my husband and I were fortunate to meet him in 2010 for a short visit.  He was the last surviving Koury sibling or spouse of a Koury sibling in our family and we do share grief in his loss.  I felt particularly close to Uncle Fred for a couple of funny reasons, we were both born in June, loved to play cribbage, RV and travel.  I met him only a few times that I can remember being the youngest one in our immediate family.  Please accept our deepest sympathy.  My husband Morris and I, Sandy Todora Manning.
