George M. Carlson

George Carlson, 91, of Port Orchard, Washington passed away on March 4, 2016 at 4:38 PM in Gig Harbor, Washington surrounded by Family and Friends. He, and his loving wife of 56 years, Ramona Carlson are both in the hands of God now. He was born in Two Harbor Minnesota on July 27, 1924 to Henning and Ester (Pylkanem) Carlson. Dad was wounded while serving in the US Army, and then spent many years working in the janitorial field in Seattle. Dad loved to travel with his family. Every day you could count on seeing him on the porch swing, watching the hummingbirds and nature's wild life, not a day goes by that you could not find him there. He is surived by his daughter and family, Teri Carlson, Cherrie Kreisman Carlson, and extended family, Nancy Miller, Carmen Miller, Kaytlin Zacker, Rehonna Wright, Kristina Spooner, Elijah Wilson -Milonas, Raymond Milonas, Kaleigh Campbell, Kordel Wright, Cynthia Brewer, Jeff Cooley, Shirley King, Candy Fishman, Cathy Orr, Ramona Bradley, Mike Reinitz, Berry Reinitz, Scott Reinitz, Steve Reinitz and sister, Lily E Cooley. Besides his parents and wife Ramona he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ester Pylkanem and Henning Carlson. There will be a Celebration of his life on

Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Power Funeral Home in Puyallup. Flowers can be sent there day of service.

In a Bittersweet moment another Angel has found his wings. And has set off on a flight safe into the arms of God. And to those gone before him, waiting and anticipating his Arrival as they make his way to Heaven. Amen
