Mary Jane Bates

On the evening of Oct 20th, 2013, Mary peacefully passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the company of her loving husband of thirty years, William Bates. Mary was born in Germany on March 4th, 1954 to Irima Jo Witt, and J.B. Robertson. She was the youngest of 6 children; Brothers John, Larry, Harry, Robert and sister Cathy. Mary had such a loving heart, which showed through her many years as a healthcare provider at Courtyard at the Willows. She opened her heart to any person in need, thus growing our ever expanding extended family. She is loved and remembered by multiple children, and countless grandchildren. Mary is survived by her Husband William, her 6 sons, 1 daughter, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral Services will be help on Sun, Oct 27th at 2:00pm viewing at 11:00am, at Powers Funeral Home. 320 W Pioneer AVE Puyallup WA, 98371. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the service.
