

William “Bill” D. Bostwick, 86, passed away August 1, 2013. Born December 10, 1926 in Fargo, ND to Richard and Clara Bostwick. Bill was one of nine children. He married his wife of 65 years, Frieda Schoenbachler on June 12, 1948. They raised their nine children, John, Michael (Cathy), Geralyn (Tim Hoffman), David, Ronald (Patty), William, Delbert (Colleen), Lisa (Rick Bogatko) and Steven in Puyallup. Bill worked as a steamfitter and eventually became the business manager of the Local 82 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union until his retirement in 1985. Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, chatting with his neighbors and yearly family vacations to Crescent Bar and Steamboat Island. He was a lifelong parishioner of All Saints Parish and member of the Eagles Lodge 2308 for over 30 years. Most of all, Bill loved his grandchildren, never missing a sports game or birthday party. His kind nature, sense of humor and unconditional love for family and friends will be missed by all who knew him.Bill is preceded by his parents, siblings Richard, Thomas, Renae, Nancy, son John and grandson Jason. Bill is survived by his wife, Frieda, brother, Jim (Shirley), sisters Patricia Pospisil (Ermin), Gloria Morris (Richard), Mary Bostwick,grandchildren, John; Heidi & Hannah; Randy, Ashley & Danny; Brittany, Teigan & Nikki; Erika, Danna, Rick & Laci; Jonathan & Jill; Cali, Colin & Adam grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be offered Thursday August 8th from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home 320 W. Pioneer Ave in Puyallup.The Rosary will be held at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup at 7pm on Thursday, August 8th. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am on Friday, August 9th, 2013 at All Saints Parish, 503 3rd St SW, Puyallup.
