My family and yours have a history, I have lovely memories. Bill was a dear friend to my parents, as well as Frieda. My thoughts are with her and the whole family, he was special and will be missed and remembered by so many. I always loved "running into" Bill or Frieda, you two were good connections to my long gone parents.

Nancy and I were babysitting and we decided to light the fireplace.  I didn't open the fireplace damper and the house filled with smoke.  Bill didn't even "chew" us out. To me, Bill was a man who commanded respect and deserved all he got.  Mike, described him exactly as I remember him:  fair, compassionate, full of love, and always a kind word for everyone.  To me, he was a rock of man:  strong and steady.  I would add that he stood up for what he believed but always with a great sense of humor and without taking himself too seriously.  He was one of those few whose path I crossed and carried with me.  To all the family, Mollie and I are very sorry for your loss.

Grandpa,
You were so much more than just a grandpa to me; you were like a second father and I am going to miss you dearly. I'm going to miss our conversations, especially the ones about how grandma goes to bingo too much, how she always leaves the weeds lying in the driveway and the news paper thrown next to her chair. You always knew how to put a smile on my face and accept me for who I am. Don't worry about Grandma; we are all looking after your Fritz. I love ya Gramps and just know that you are going to be forever missed and remembered. Cheers to you!

I was lucky enough to get to know Bill many years ago.  The thing I remember most is the little twinkle of mischief in his eyes when he would talk to me. He' d tease in the most good hearted way.  I use to  think those boys sure came  by it naturally. I also remember how proud he was of his kids.  He was an amazing Father. I am so very sorry for your loss Frieda and family.

Uncle Bill . . . Loved by my Mother, Renee' (his sister), respected by my Father and adored by us kids. He was the uncle that never told you what to do but always asked, “What are you up to?”  He asked out of genuine curiosity. Uncle Bill was always interested, involved and engaged with the people around him and that's what we loved about him.  I will miss him but he taught us what we needed to know, Family first, work hard, and be grateful for our blessings.
My thoughts and prayers go to Aunt Frieda and my cousins.

My grandpa Bill was truly an inspirational person to me. My earliest memories of him were when he would take my little brother and I out on the field of Allen jr. High an teach us how to play golf. My grandpa always took time out to get to know his grandchildren which I will always remember and appreciate him for. He almost never had a bad word to say about anyone, and was always a positive and loving figure in my life and the lives of everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. I will miss him so much but I know that he will be watching me from heaven. The least I, of anyone that knew him well can do is to implement  his way of making the little things matter most into our own lives so that his great legacy can live on.

There are no words to express the sorrow I feel at the loss of my father.  I'm fortunate to have been his daughter.  I feel lucky that I was able to be with him this past week.  Many thanks to all my cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and siblings for visiting dad and offering their love and support. it meant more then you know.  I will miss him every day but take some comfort in knowing he is joining his family that has gone before him.  Love you Pop

Uncle Bill was always my favorite Uncle. His kindness and compassion always shined through. I'm very lucky to have spent his last week with him at St. Joe's Hospital and to see the love in his eyes that he had for everyone.RIP.

Uncle Bill has always been my favorite uncle.  Even as a young kid he was always willing to chat with us kids, always had time for us.  As I grew up I always looked forward to the picnics at his house.  Family was so important to him.  And I always felt part of his family whenever I was at his house.  

Now, with any Bostwick event, this Bostwick family always shows up, and I think that is a direct result of how they were raised and Bill's influence to put family first.

I am priviledged to call him my family, honored to be his niece, and lucky to have known him.  I am comforted by the fact that he is with his brothers and sisters and parents now.  Goodbye Uncle Bill-I love you.

I always made a point to stop and see Bill and Frieda when I was in town because they are such an important part of my growing up. He respected us and we respected him.

I was his great niece. He was my grandmother Renee Glen's brother. Uncle Bill was the greatest man I've ever known. He was good to my family and I. I won't be able to go to the funeral because I can't afford a last minute plane ticket to Seattle. I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye, but he will be missed. I'll be at the funeral in spirit.

I'm very honored to have had such a wonderful role model growing up. My dad was honest, fair, compasionate, and full of love for all his grand kids and the extended Bostwick family. He was well respected in his working life as well as his personal life. He had a kind word for everyone he ran into. I'm very fortunate to have been with him almost daily for the last six months. Rest in peace dad, your work is done and your legacy will live on.

What a great man, we remember Bill at so many of the girls soccer games, always smiling always had something good to say

I have so many great memories of my Grandpa Bill. Coming to dance recitals, sports games, awards ceremonies for school, birthday parties, church ceremonies, he was one of a kind. Always full of smiles and jokes, such a great sense of humor. He always had a candy in his pocket for his grandkids! I loved it when people asked me "Is Bill Bostwick your grandfather?" "You bet he is!" was usually my answer. He made me proud to be a Bostwick, because he was a wonderful friend to everyone. I love you Grandpa and I will miss you so much, but I will never forget you.
