Tony is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Callender, daughters he loved as his own Joy and Denise, siblings Patsy, Veronica, Marcia, Carolyn, Lynette, Carlisle, Cecil, Sandra, Cortez, Anna, Pinky, and Roger and grand dogs Sheldon and Luna.
Tony’s death was preceded by his parents, step-father Owen Jones, brothers Victor Callender and Bucky, lifelong partner Cynthia Delores Clark and other siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Tony’s wake will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 4 pm to 8 pm and funeral service on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm at R. Stutzmann & Son located at 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. Following Saturday's service, a farewell chapel service will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026 from 1 to 1:30 pm at All Souls Crematory, 72-02 Astoria Blvd S., East Elmhurst, NY 11370 with a repast to follow at 2:30 pm.
