I new Frank he was my older Brothers friend. I new him when he went into the Army and everyone was proud of him. I joined the Marine Corps when I was seventeen partially because of Frank.  Frank was a good man, Good Soldier and a very good Friend. Frank and my Brother John are probably having a good time together.

The first time I met Frank was when he drove onto to the campus of CW Post College on a Harley long bright Red hair flowing from underneath his helmet in the early 1970"s. We later were on the job together. The last time I seen him was when we marched together in the St. Patrick's Day Parade several years after I retired!  Frank, you were larger than life, and gave to life, and all who had the pleasure of knowing , all there was to give.  Rest in Peace my friend for you lived a good life!

Karen and Family -- Our deepest condolences go out to you all on this very sad occasion; but, Frank is in heaven now.  I was the ARP Platoon Leader June 1970-Jun 1971 and, as such did not serve with Frank.  His reputation, however, was pristine and held in high honor by all my troops.  I did meet him at a reunion and at Soapy Lux's funeral and he was a fine man and a fine soldier/leader.  Always well grounded in his views, I was impressed with his determination and courage when faced with this final challenge.  I spoke to him in the hospital and my biggest honor was when he called me "Brother".  He touched many, many lives in a positive way and the world is already poorer without him. I met you last night for the first time and I only wish it could have been 10 years ago. I know your baby brother Mark and by just listening to a few of his stories about you I know you were a Special guy. Thanks for serving in Nam for us and say hello to my buddy Rudy who gave his life on Hamburger Hill. The medals and commendations you received were unbelievable and I guess you were born to be a Soldier. This country was/is so lucky to have men and women like you who sacrifice so much for us.

My heart was deeply saddened yesterday when I received the message that Frank had passed away.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family at this difficult time.  I will always cherish the fantastic time Kathy and I had when we flew out to NY  to see Frank and have him introduce us to his dad and brother Mark whom he was so proud of.  Frank always had a very generous heart and was very outgoing.  He was there at my first 11th ACR reunion in 1992 with open arms and I know he will be there at the gates of heaven when I get the chance to join him.  We will miss his sense of humor and the stories of just some of his many experiences.  Rest in Peace Brother, until we meet again.
