

James Watson was born November 4th, 1955. He was born in Queens, N.Y. The third son of Mary and Frank Watson from Queens Village. He attended Incarnation elementary school. He later attended Queens Vocational High School (Class of 1974) He went on to attend Central Arizona Community College. While in High School and College he played Baseball and was all PSAL team 1974 and was acknowledged by city papers for striking out 15 batters and hitting two home runs in a championship game, with a 1.30 era as a pitcher. He had tryouts at Shea Stadium for the NY Mets in the mid 70's. Once his playing days were behind him he went on to work 10 years at Colombia University as plumbing and maintenance employee. Plus many side jobs as a plumber in the Queens and NYC area. He was married twice, first in 1979 to Laura Nicoll they have one son George Watson of Ilion,Ny and in 2011 he married Claudia Graber with whom he shared 29 years with until his passing. He is Survived by 7 brothers and sisters Mary Ann and Joe of Delaplane Virginia ,Eileen and John of Maspeth Queens,NY , Frank and Barbara of Fort Lauderdale,Fl , Robert and Judy of Queens ,NY ,Karen and Edward of Edison ,NJ , Elizabeth of Long beach ,NY and Rita of Queens Village ,NY. He has a son George Watson married to Heather Watson of Ilion,NY , he has Grand Children Caitlin sharp of Little Falls , NY Matthew Carpenter of Ilion NY Shauna Youngs of Ilion,NY Daniel Youngs of Ilion,NY George Watson II of Ilion, NY and Gabriella Watson of Fort Plain ,NY
He was preceded in Death by his parents Frank Watson in 1999 and Mary Watson in 2010.
He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and his Aunt Dotty.
