John G. Christman Jr.

John George Christman, Jr., age 59, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 18, 2019. John was a resident of Northville, New York at the time of his passing. He was born in Elmhurst, New York on June 11, 1960 and grew up there and in Queens Village, New York prior to his move to the Adirondacks. John served honorably in the U.S. Navy and was an avid Mets fan, fisherman and a true patriot.

John is predeceased by his wife, Sharon, his mother, Luella, and brothers-in-law, Daniel and Michael McGill. He is also predeceased by his Aunts Anna and Annette, Uncle Tommy and cousin Kathy.

John is survived by his father, John George Christman, Sr., his sisters, Theresa McGill, Laura McGill, Arlene Maracina (John), Paula Fressle (Kenneth), Veronica Nealon (Sean) and brother Patrick, nieces and nephews, Lauren (Simon), Jessica (Rich), James, Kat, Rebecca, Madison, Daniel, Caroline, Sean, Bridget, Elizabeth, Kendall, Johnny, Charlotte, Olivia (Goddaughter), Hannah and Anna, sister-in-law, Susan Kelly, and brother-in-law, John Kelly. He is also survived by a large, loving extended family who were very important to him including Aunts, Uncles and many cousins he was lucky enough to call friends.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, October 25, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 22439 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, New York 11428. A visitation will occur Friday, October 25, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 22439 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, New York 11428. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Chapel, 92-96 220th Street, Queens Village, NY 11428. A private cremation will occur.
