Maria Teresa Puerta de Castano

Maria Teresa has joined her beloved ones in heaven on August 7th 2024. She has found peace and tranquility with God above. She took great pride in her work, well known in her neighborhood of Bellerose as a hair stylist to many. Above all she was a proud sister, daughter, wife, mother and grandmother to family here in New York and in Colombia. We the family of Maria Teresa thank you for your condolences and sympathies during this difficult time.

Maria Teresa se a unido con sus ser amados en el cielo el 7 de Agosto 2024. Ella encontro paz y tranquilidad con Dios en el Cielo. Ella tienia mucho orgullo en su trabajo, bien conocida en su vecindario de Bellerose como estilista de pelo. Sobre todo ella era orgullosa de ser un hermana, hija, esposa, madre y abuela a su familia aqui en Nueva York y en Colombia. Nosotros la familia de Maria Teresa agradecemos su condolencias y simpatias durante este tiempo dificil.

A visitation for Maria will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. The funeral mass will be on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 9:45 AM at St. Gregory's the Great Church, 242-20 88th Ave, New York, NY 11426. Cremation is private.
