Marites Gonzales Ciron

Born on February 25, 1967 to David and Anunciacion B. Gonzales, Marites was raised and had completed her education in the Philippines. She graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of St. Anthony, Iriga City Philippines on March 1988.

Marites came to the United States in September 6, 2001 to join her husband, Roberto. They have two sons, Christian Robbie, 14 and Knicko, 8.

Marites worked as a Registered Nurse in the Philippines for several years before starting a 10 year career as a Clinical Instructor at the University of St. Anthony. She continued as a staff nurse at Margaret Teitz Center in Jamaica, New York. Prior to her illness, Marites was working as a Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children in Queens, New York.

Marites Ciron is well loved by her family, friends, and co-workers. Apart from her two sons, she extended her love to her nieces and nephews, devoting much of her time and efforts as a caregiver and a beloved aunt.

Marites is survived by her husband Roberto, sons Christian Robbie and Knicko, her mother Anunciacion, her sisters Susan, Vilma, and Donna, brother Nilo, Dante and David, Jr., nieces and nephews, and in laws.
