Ramkarran Subdhan

Ramkarran Subdhan, also known as Pam or Ron, passed away at the age of 63 on April 12th, 2023 at his home. He was born in Grove, East Bank Demerara, Guyana on September 21st 1959, Ron was the son of the late Surji Subdhan and Seecharran Subdhan, and grew up with his siblings- his late sister Shirley Chosing, Danesh Subdhan, Evelyn (Love) Kanhai, Ramchan Subdhan, Khemraj (Charlie) Subdhan, Narine (Dan) Subdhan, Balo Subdhan, and Sugo Subdhan.

Ron graduated from Diamond Primary School. He enjoyed working in the rice field during the summer time with his siblings and aunts. He worked at the Biscuit Factory for 8 years and then migrated to America in 1981. In 1984, Ron married Shanta Seecharran and together they had 4 children Stacy, Shelly, Sharon and Ron, which are their biggest accomplishments. They built a successful and wonderful life together, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Ron was known for helping others and having great relationships with his friends, he was always eager to help those in need. Whether he was running Ron Resale Communications Inc., playing cricket, or cooking he was happiest when spending time with family and friends creating special moments.

Ron had a kind heart, and touched many lives in a positive way. Throughout his life, Ron had a lot of courage with the obstacles he faced in life. Ron will be dearly missed by his family and friends, including his grandchildren Olivia Maaya Singh and Laiana Raya Kowlessar. Ron will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, kind spirit, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

A funeral service in memory of Ron will be held at R. Stutzmann & Son in Queens Village, NY on Sunday, April 16th, at 10:30am. A cremation service will be held at The Garden State Crematorium in North Bergen, NJ at 2:00PM. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers to the funeral home.
