

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Rogles Moise, who departed this life on May 22, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on July 19, 1956, in Port-au-Prince, Rogles was the beloved son of Marc Moise and Andree Victor, leaving behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, strength, and dedication to family.
Rogles was the third born of eight siblings and grew up surrounded by family in Haiti, where he completed high school before beginning a new chapter in life. In 1979, Rogles immigrated to the United States after his older brother, Guy Moise, petitioned for him so he could pursue opportunities and build a better future.
After arriving in America, Rogles worked hard to establish himself and became a dietitian. He dedicated more than 30 years of service to Metropolitan Hospital, where he worked faithfully until retiring in 2018 Rogles was a hardworking and devoted man who believed deeply in sacrifice, responsibility, and caring for those he loved.
He first lived in Brooklyn and later moved to Queens, where he raised his children as a single father. Family was always at the center of Rogles life. He was a devoted father to his three children: Gladimyr Moise, Daphne Moise, and Jordan Moise.
Rogles welcomed his first son, Gladimyr Moise, with his first girlfriend, Yanick Charles. He later married Rodchille Avril Moise, with whom he had his beloved daughter, Daphne Moise. Tragically, Rogles became a widower in 1988. Later in life, he welcomed his son Jordan Moise with Jillian Frederick.
A man of extraordinary generosity and selflessness, Rogles carried the weight of family on his shoulders and made countless sacrifices to help those he loved. Rogles first petitioned for his younger brother Marc in the mid 1980s After helping his brother Minol come to America, giving them the opportunity to build a better future in the United States. Later, in the late 1990s, Rogles petitioned for his three younger brothers Wilbert, Imbert, and Patrick Moise along with their children Berline, James, Patricia, Jeff, Wilberte and Wilkens, helping bring the family together and creating opportunities, stability, and hope for future generations. Through his love, sacrifice, and determination, Rogles changed the lives of many family members and became a foundation of strength and support for those around him. His kindness and dedication extended far beyond himself, reflecting the kind of man he was steadfast, generous, selfless, and deeply committed to family.
Beyond his devotion to family, Rogles had a deep love for sports, especially basketball. He was a passionate and loyal fan of the New York Knicks and the New York Giants. He enjoyed watching games, cheering on his favorite teams, and sharing that excitement with those around him. His love for sports brought him great joy and created many cherished memories with family and friends. Rogles also loved to travel and treasured every opportunity to explore new places, experience different cultures, and create lasting memories.
Rogles was preceded in death by his father Marc Moise, mother Andree Victor, brother Marc Moise, his loving wife Rodchille Avril Moise, and nephew Ilex Gelin.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Gladimyr Moise, Daphne Moise, and Jordan Moise; his grandchildren Isaiah Moise, Brianna Moise, Sean Moise, Kevin Celestin Eva Frederick, and Makenzie Rice; his siblings Guy Moise & wife (Mimose), children Guisssy Moise - Lubin & husband(Larick),Jerry Moise & wife (Rose ). Mireille Gelin & husband (Ilex),children David Gelin & wife (Jessica) Christine Gelin -Gauthier & husband (George).Wilbert Moise children Wilberte,Wilkens. Imbert Moise & wife (Lavane), Children Berline Moise -Demorin&husband(Wadson),James, Volette, Widmaer, Steph,Wimarc, AINDJY. Minol Moise children Ezekiel, Minerva. Patrick Moise children, Patricia, and Jeff, Nedjaline. along with Great nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless loved ones whose lives he touched.
Above all, Rogles Moise will be remembered as a father, provider, protector, and the backbone of his family a man who carried his family on his back with sacrifice, love, and unwavering strength. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives he shaped and the family he fought so hard to support.
