Rosana affectionately called Nana, born in Cuba and grew up in Port Salut. Born to proud parents Elia Chamblain and Vertule Manuel. Nana was the matriarch of her family. She was a protector and a nurturing peace maker. She was a great cook and was recognized by all that had the honor be fed by her. She loved feeding everyone that she came across. Nana instilled good Christian values, hard work, ethics and respect for others in her children.
Nana is survived by her three children, Edwin, Roselord and Chantal. One son-in-law Yves Chouloute and one daughter-in-law Myriam Norgaisse.
Nine grandchildren Karl, Vladimir, Jepthe, Regine, Edwin, Jeffrey, Minette, Valerie and Thierry. Along with six great grandchildren.
What a shinning star and a phenomenal woman. Nana will be greatly missed.

A funeral mass for Rosana will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Joachim & Anne R.C. Church, 218-27 Hollis Avenue, Queens Village, NY 11427. A committal service will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at Queen of All Saints Cemetery, 115 Wheeler Rd, Central Islip, NY 11722. A visitation will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428.
