Sherryl,

 It's been years, too many to count, but I never forgot you nor your smile.  

Am so sorry I never got the chance to see you again, before our Great Father of Abraham, called you home and you had to go.  

Rest in the comfort and grace of Heaven until we meet again.  Love you forever Cousin. 

 May God give the rest of us Hope, Peace, Comfort and Strength to go on.

I am very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Ms. Harrison. I met Sherryl during my tenure as the director of the Health Information Management department of Downstare Medical Center. The first thing that caught my attention and admired about Sheryl was her warm contagious smile. She will be dearly missed. RIP keep smiling.

We've lost one of our dear members of the family. May she rest in peace and thank God for the life that she lived. For Natasha & Wayne, I know that it will take time for you to process all of this. But know that God knows best. I remember Sherryl as a quiet child. When she went with us to Disneyworld (in 1982) she was so quiet but there was this interesting event. I remember when she and Marie went on this rough ride which beforehand Marie was really excited to go on and Sherryl was neutral about it. And after they came off it was Sherryl who was excited and enjoyed it and Marie didn't feel well. 

We are saddened by the passing of our cousin Sherryl, we pray that God gives her children and siblings lots of strength during this difficult time. Love you all❤️🙏🏾

Oh   this is so sudden  ,  Im so so saddened to hear about her   passing. She was an amazing  person .Had a long conversation  with you New Years Day not knowing it was the last . 

Our hearts are filled with so much pain,

Not long ago I had the pleasure of meeting Sherryl again, as we had met briefly a few years earlier through our children.
Sherryl was warm and friendly and we shared good conversation.  I wish I had gotten to know Sherryl better, I feel we would have become great friends.
My sympathy and prayers go out to her family.

My deepest condolences for the loss of our coworker. This untimely death is very difficult to bear. May God give  your family the strength to cope with their lost. I will never forget the warmth her smile brought to our department  

One of the most inviting and calming people I know, Ms. Sherryl will be deeply missed. She took me in as a daughter over 20 years ago and I will always appreciate the loving guidance and wisdom she always provided. May her spirit and dance moves forever live on. We love you, Ms. Sherryl!

Sherryl’s love for family and her pure honest nature was so refreshing and funny.  In the midst of the pandemic when Hospital supplies were scant and we all were squirreling away supplies for ourselves to use during the work week. Sherryl asked for more masks and I questioned her about the supply I gave her the previous week; she smiled and said I gave them to my son. I ask you, what can you say to that love and concern that a Mom has for her child and her ability to just admit  the truth that she gave them to her child to help to keep him safe. As her Director I just smiled and asked her to please keep some for herself; Sherryl was pure, true, and a pleasure to work with. I will miss her immensely and I would like her family to know that SUNY HIM Department was indeed her family as well and she left a chasm that will never be filled. Rest in Peace Sherryl.

A precious piece of the SUNY Downstate HIM family link was suddenly taken from us. We mourn the loss of a friendly, brilliant, and conscientious coworker. Sherryl warmed our hearts with her peaceful and calm demeanor. We pray God’s comfort for the family and all those who mourn Sherryl’s departure from this earth.
