Surujpaul Ramkelawan, lovingly known as Paul, was the patriarch of our family. Born on April 5, 1942 in Guyana, Paul spent most of his life devoted to loving and supporting his family. He immigrated to the U.S. with his wife and children in 1977 and always provided for those around him. He is survived by his wife (Linda), four children (Stephen, David, Doreen, and Dennis), thirteen grandchildren (Christina, Crystal, Arayna, Eric, Stephen Jr., Ryan, Rohan, Justin, Kaitlin, Kayla, Ethan, Avinash, and Chavin), and three great grandchildren (Maliya, Elora, and Ezra).
A visitation will be held at R. Stutzmann & Son, located at 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY, 11428, on February 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Final respects and prayers will take place at the same venue on February 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
The burial will occur at All Faiths Cemetery, 67-29 Metropolitan Ave, New York, NY, 11379, on February 10, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
