Catherine H. Smith

Catherine H. (Heckman) Smith, of Quincy died at John Adams Healthcare Center on October 27, 2010 after a long failing health. She was 95 years old. Born in Belmont MA, raised in Bridgewater Nova Scotia Canada and Quincy MA. Graduated from Boston University with a degree in Education in 1937. She was a member of Central Baptist Church Quincy MA for many years. She also attended The First Presbyterian Church Quincy MA. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, doing fancy hand work and travelling. Catherine is the beloved wife of late Albert H. Smith and loving mother of A. Howard Smith Jr. and Roberta C. Smith both of Quincy. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, October 31st at the Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St., Quincy from 3PM – 7PM. Funeral at the Deware Funeral Home on Monday, November 1st at 10AM. Interment in Terrace Hill Cemetery, South Walpole.
