Chung Yuet Chiang

Born in Taishan, China on November 13, 1939, he was the oldest son of 7 children to the late Do-Ping Chiang and Gum Sau (Dong) Chiang.

He shared 59 years of marriage with Tip Ying (Mak) Chiang and was a beloved husband and dedicated father.

In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his loving daughter Anne Chiang, his son William Chiang and daughter-in-law Olga Vavruskova, and cherished grandchildren, Emma Chiang and Jacob Chiang.

Chung worked for many years as a chef in restaurants until he retired. He continued to enjoy cooking at home and cheering on his favorite football teams on TV until his lengthy illness.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank his medical team at Tufts Medical Center for their commitment and support.

His funeral service will be held on April 17, 2026 from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170, followed by burial at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston at 12:30 pm.
