Patrick Michael Vierra passed away peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital on May 21, 2014, surrounded by his wife Jody and his daughter Claudia. He is survived by his loving mother, Natercia Marques, his cherished son, Christopher, his caring daughters, Cecilia and Patricia, and two grand-children.
Born in Hong Kong on June 29, 1949, he immigrated to the United States with his family and settled in the neighborhood of Charlestown in 2004. He worked at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in the ten years that followed.
He was a devoted family man. His pastime was to spend quality time with those whom he loved. He showed his dedication at work and took pride in his unrelenting professionalism. Before his health deteriorated leading to his final departure, he had never taken a day of sick leave.
A shining example of the American Dream, he quickly became accustomed to the peaceful lifestyle of Boston and showed his appreciation wherever he could. His contagious friendliness and positivity won him friends and companions at work and in the neighborhood alike.
A beloved husband, father, coworker, and so much more, he will be forever loved and remembered, until we meet again.
