Mrs. Barbara Hobson Tyndall of 12561 Ridgewood Circle died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at her home at the age of 71. Mrs. Tyndall was born in Robeson County on January 28, 1941 to the late John Haywood Hobson and Lois Brown Hobson. She was a member of East Laurinburg Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Earl Tyndall of Laurinburg; a son, Mack Hollingsworth of Laurinburg; a step-son, James Earl Tyndall of Ashland City, TN; a step-daughter, Lynn Tyndall Hutchins of McMinville, TN; five step-grandchildren; one step-great granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at East Laurinburg Baptist Church, 56 5th Street, Laurinburg, from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, July 22, 2012 at East Laurinburg Baptist Church, with Reverend Richard Tyson and Reverend Carl Redding officiating. Burial will be in the Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs.
