Benjamin Davis Harrell, Sr.

Mr. Harrell was born in Hoke County on October 12, 1941, to the late Thomas Glenn Harrell Sr. an Daisy Bell Taylor Harrell. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Louise Priest Harrell, a son Walter Brian Harrell Sr. a sister Shirley Ann Harrell and two brothers Thomas Glenn (Tommy) Harrell Jr. and Jerry Ray Harrell. He was a member of Celebration of Praise Church of God in Raeford and retired from Burlington Industries.

He is survived by a son Benjamin Davis “Benjie” Harrell Jr. and his wife Jodi of Rockingham, NC; two daughters Sharon Ann Graham and her finance David Freeman of Raeford, NC and Melissa Gail “Lisa” Scott and her husband Timmy of Laurel Hill, NC; fourteen grandchildren Jamie Harrell, Johnathon Harrell, Jordan Williams, Ben Harrell, Taylor Jones, Crystal Graham-Goins, Christopher Glenn Graham, Ashley Freeman Riker, Heather Hines, Cassey Hines, Stephen Scott Andy Scott. Erica Harrell and Walter Brian Harrell Jr.; twenty-four great grandchildren; a brother Floyd Harrell of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters Katherine Bruce of Charlotte, NC and Vicky Rose and her husband Earl of Rockingham, NC.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home

Funeral Service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Edge and Pastor Woody Byrd officiating.

Burial will in Highland Biblical Gardens in Raeford, NC.
