Connie Jean Brooks Hill "Tootsie" of Red Springs was born on February 1, 1967 and departed this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. She was 45. Connie was born in Scotland County to Annie Lee Locklear Lewis and the late Earlie Rome Brooks. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Ronald Brooks. Connie will be remembered as someone who loved children and was a great Sunday school teacher. Connie is survived by a daughter: Chrissy Hill of Red Springs; two brothers: Gary Brooks of Shannon and Tony Lewis of Red Springs; three sisters: Jeannette B. Locklear, Shirley B. Dial, and Sally A. Brooks all of Red Springs; a special friend Leverne Gibbs of Fairmont and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be 7:00 pm until on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Upper Room Holiness Church, 10566 NC Hwy 211 West, Red Springs, NC. Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Upper Room Holiness Church with Timmy Hunt officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
