Faith was central to Doris's life. She was an active member of Raeford United Methodist Church for many years before becoming involved in Davidson United Methodist Church, where she particularly enjoyed Wednesday night dinners. Her dedication to her faith extended beyond church walls—she spent much of her life witnessing for the Lord, sharing His message with all who crossed her path. Her smile could brighten any room, drawing people in with warmth that reflected her deep spirituality. All who encountered Doris came to love her.
Doris found joy in crafting, participating in Walk to Emmaus events, singing in the RUMC choir and spending time with her family. Her love for those around her was mighty—a testament to the values she held dear throughout her life.
