Emma Gail Jones

Mrs. Emma Gail Jones of 718 Jacquelyn Avenue went to be with her Lord on February 22, 2016 at the age of 72. Mrs. Jones was born in Robeson County on June 8, 1943 to the late Arthur Locklear and Agnora Locklear. She was employed with the USDA as a Food Inspector and as a caregiver. She enjoyed spending her free time fishing. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Locklear (Jackie) of Red Springs; Sharon Bullard (Harold) of Red Springs, her brothers, Robert Locklear of Red Springs; Charles Locklear of Shannon; Gary Locklear of Shannon; Arthur Locklear of St. Pauls; Ricky Locklear of Shannon; Willie "Duce" Locklear of Shannon, her sisters, Mary Locklear of Shannon; Christine Gibbs of Shannon; Othella Locklear of Shannon; Catherine Hammonds of Shannon; Barbara Chavis of Shannon; Helen Faye Clark of Pembroke; Ruth Ann Jacobs of Lumberton; seven grandchildren, Brad; Charles; Pharon; Brittney; Isaiah; Colonel; and Ryan; and 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and loved ones. The visitation will be 6 until 9 pm, Friday, February 26, 2016 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 220 E. 4th Ave, Red Springs and other times at Emmas home, 718 Jacquelyn Ave in Shannon. The funeral service will be 2 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Friendly Temple Baptist Church 308 Lyndsey Lane, Shannon, N.C.
