

Dateline: Raeford Mr. Harry Lee Leftwich, Jr. of 110 North Jackson Street, died Monday, December 26, 2011 in his home at the age of 59. Mr. Leftwich was born in Casscoe, Arkansas on June 25, 1952 to the late Harry Lee Leftwich, Sr. and Lavonne Smith Leftwich. He retired from the US Army in 1991 as Sgt. Mr. Leftwich was the owner and operator of A. B. L. E. Fence Company and Allied Fence Company. He is preceded in death by a step-son, Charles Edward Spence and a brother, Paul Beard. Survivors include his wife, Sue Brock Leftwich of Raeford; two sons, Christopher Lee Leftwich of Phoenix, AZ, and Adam Brock Leftwich (Crystal) of Lumber Bridge, NC; a daughter, Tomasina Leftwich of Portland, OR; a step-son, James B. Spence (Linda) of Cape Girardeau, MO; three brothers, Charles Adams of Hawaii, Bill Burks of Little Rock, AR, and Robert Hall of Stuttgart, AR; three sisters, Linda Kaye Clark of Mena, AR, Sheila Huffman of DeWitt, AR, and Nancy Reichenbach of Stuttgart, AR; and seven grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC 28376. A Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2011 with Reverend Phillip Mohn officiating, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC with rendering of full military honors. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
