

Henry E. Mack Jr. was born on March 9, 1932 in Trenton New Jersey to the late Henry E. Mack and Mary E. Mack. He departed this life on Monday October 31, 2016 quietly at home. He is predeceased by his parents, sisters Sarah K. Mack, Mary Olivia Peterson, Vivian Mack Whiteside, sister-in-law Wilhemina Brown Medley and granddaughter Tanisha Funchers. Henry was educated in Trenton Public Schools and was employed at Globe Industry in Dayton, Ohio, Trenton School System, Forensic Psychiatric Hospital and retired from the State of New Jersey in 1997. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories, his wife Georgianna Mack of the home. Daughters Jeanne Taylor of New York, NY, Adrienne (Lang) Funchers, and Michelle Hasker, of Trenton, NJ, Robbin Mack of Fayetteville, Ga, and Sandra Washington of San Antonio, TX, Angela (Gene) Hudson of Pleasantville, NJ, and Trina (Vincent) Preston Spencer of Red Springs, NC. Sons Henry Mack III of Asbury Park, NJ, Duane (Artrella) Mack of Fayetteville, GA, and Robert (Nicole) Preston Jr. of Wilmington De. Sister-in-Law Ruth (Ron) Stokes of Raeford, NC and Brothers-in Law Aldo Cole of Red Springs, NC and Wilson Medley Jr. of Paterson, NJ. 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A life-long "special brother" Ronnie Whortenberry of Trenton, NJ and "special cousin" Mary McCray. Special thanks to Robert Hollingsworth PA-C and Liberty Hospice Services of Lumberton. Public viewing will be on Thursday, November 3, 2016 between the hours of 12:00 and 6:00 p.m. at Crumpler Funeral Home-Red Springs. The visitation will be between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Friday, November 4, 2016 at Macks Chapel AME Church, 1574 McLeod Rd, Red Springs, NC with Pastor Phoebe Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.
