Isaac Lee O'Tuel

Mr. Isaac Lee OTuel of Raeford passed away March 18, 2018 at the age of 78.Mr. OTuel was born in Fairmont, North Carolina on September 20, 1939 to the late John Weldon OTuel, Jr. and Mary Ella Cottle OTuel. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen OTuel Moran. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Galatia Presbyterian Church. He had a deep interest in geneaology. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Hoke County. He was an avid reader of American history and he loved his family and his dogs.He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Virginia (Kay) Sasser OTuel of Raeford, a son, John Weldon OTuel III and his wife Michele of Chapel Hill, N.C., a daughter, Shannon Marie OTuel McDonald and her husband Thomas of Monroe, N.C., 5 grandchildren, Peyton McDonald, Cole McDonald, Jack OTuel, Michael OTuel and Alex OTuel, 2 sisters, Betty Ann Tyson of Georgetown, S.C., and Mary Elizabeth Lund of Fayetteville, N.C.A time of visitation will be held between 11:00am and 12:00pm Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Galatia Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Galatia Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 8800 Galatia Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Galatia Presbyterian Church with full military honors.
