Jimmy Dean Locklear

Mr. Jimmy Dean Locklear of 106 Zelmas Lane, Maxton died Friday, April 10, 2015 in Lumberton at the age of 57. Mr. Locklear was born in Scotland County on January 15, 1958. He was preceded in death by his father, Nash Locklear Sr. and his son David Locklear. Mr. Locklear is survived by his wife, Debra Jane Locklear of Maxton; a daughter, Bridget Locklear and her husband Ron of Lumberton; his mother, Sarah B. Locklear of Red Springs; three brothers, Bobby Locklear of Red Springs, NC, Nash Locklear Jr. of Lumberton, NC and Ronald Locklear of Maxton, NC; three sisters, Dora Jones of Shannon, NC, Annie Locklear of Red Springs and Sarah Maynor of Raeford; four grandchildren, Morgan Locklear, Zanae Blue, Brittney Locklear and Brooke Locklear. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Ave. Red Springs. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the New Jerusalem Holiness Church, 166 Wicker Road, Red Springs, NC. with Pastor Ronald Locklear officiating, directed by Crumpler Funeral Home of Red Springs. Burial will be in the Cherokee Chapel Holiness Church Cemetery, 5739 Oxendine School Road, Maxton, NC Funeral arrangements are being handled by Crumpler Funeral Home of Red Springs.
