Mr. Mack Locklear, Jr of 265 Garfield Road, died Monday, June 27, 2011, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center at the age of 72. Mr. Locklear was born in Hoke County on January 23, 1939 to the late Mack Locklear, Sr and Lady Locklear. Survivors include his wife, Judy Ann Locklear of Shannon; five daughters, Cynthia Locklear of Red Springs, Shawanna Locklear (Jeffery Oxendine) of Raeford, Demetris Jones of Shannon, Marlena Locklear of Shannon, and Adrian Locklear of Shannon; one sister, Sally Locklear (Joseph) of Red Springs; 12 grandchildren, Latasha Floyd, Heather Locklear, Jeffery Oxendine, Jr, Michael Oxendine, Austin Ray Thomas, Polly Wynonna Thomas, Dakota Shane Thomas, Aslan Rayne Jones, Noah Cameron Sinclair, Niasia Marie Locklear, Josiah Locklear, and Jeremiah Locklear. The family will receive relatives and friends between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 PM, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Avenue, Red Springs, NC. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
