Opal Collins Gregory

Mrs. Opal Collins Gregory, formerly of Raeford, North Carolina, died Monday, January 16, 2012 in her home at the age of 75. Mrs. Gregory was born on August 5, 1936 in Surry County, North Carolina to the late Clinton Harvey Collins and Opal Irene Cobler. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clinton Harvey Collins Jr. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church. She is survived by the love of her life, Arthur K. Shuler; three daughters, Debbie Ganns and her husband Kevin of Woodstock, GA, Karen Leonard and her husband Rick of Cumming, GA, Tina Kaercher and her husband Steve of Gainesville, FL; a brother, James Collins of Graham, NC; three sisters, Nancy Cox and her husband Tom of Knoxville, Iowa, Betty Barefoot and her husband James of Raeford, NC, Laura Collins of Sanford, NC; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Community United Methodist Church with Pastor Gil Wise officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
