

Mr. Robert C. McLean son of the late Walter Herbert McLean and Ella Lide McLean was born on June 16, 1938 in Hoke County North Carolina. On Saturday October 5, 2013 at 4:20pm at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Raeford N.C he departed this earthly life and received his crown of righteousness. Robert received his early education at Upchurch Elementary in Raeford N.C. and Peterson School in Red Springs North Carolina. At a young age Robert attended and received Christ at Center Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Red Springs North Carolina and later joined the New Christian Memorial Church in Baltimore M.D. Upon relocation to North Carolina he joined Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church in Wagram N.C. Robert enjoyed life to the best of his ability, although as a child he was in a car accident he was upbeat and joyful Robert relied on the Psalm 121 " I will lift up my eyes from the hills form which commeth my help." Robert was a loving brother, uncle, brother in law and friend. Robert had a heart of Gold and a piece of the gold that he hart was made of belonged to his nephew Mr. Issac Ellis of Jacksonville Florida. Awaiting Roberts arrival around heavens throne is his father Walter H. McLean, his loving mother Ella Lide McLean two sisters Rosa Parker and Arlethia Bullock; Two Brothers Bobby McLean and J.B. McLean Left to cherish Robert Loving and profound memories are one brother John H. McLean of Baltimore MD (Van) two loving sisters, Lula Mae Ferguson of Newark, NJ and Margaret Ellis (Deacon Frank Ellis) of Raeford, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be 1pm until 7 pm, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Crumpler Funeral Home-Red Springs. Funeral will be 2pm., Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church, 25120 Raeford Road, Wagram, NC. Burial will be in the Community Rest Cemetery.
