William Lee 'Duke,' Gosnell passed away June 29, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond, Va. He was a native of North Carolina and a long-time resident of Richmond.Mr. Gosnell is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. and Mrs. W. Ray Gosnell, brother, Landrum Ray, sisters, Martha Jarrett and Fay Boroughs.He is survived by a sister, Ava Inman and husband, Frank, of Raeford, N.C.; 2 nieces, 3 nephews and their families. He was a long-time member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Choir, Richmond, and the Richmond Symphony Chorus.A graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson Springs.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the charity of your choice.
