Mr William (Bill) F. Mather of Pinebluff, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Kingswood Nursing Home, at the age of 80. Bill was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 12, 1936, to the late Phillip Ralph Mather and Mildred Henderson Mather. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Phillip Mather, Jr. and Elizabeth Moyer. He was a member of Ives Memorial Baptist Church in Pinebluff. Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years Janice Mather of Pinebluff, 2 daughters, Julie Clark and her husband Carlyle of Greenville, NC, Tina Bible of Greenville, SC, 3 sons, Van Mather of Vass, William Yale Mather of SC, Lindsey Godwin and his wife Renee of Broadway, NC, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at Ives Memorial Baptist Church 365 East Philadelphia Ave. Pinebluff. A visitation will follow the service, at the church.
