She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Stanley Orin Barefoot. Also surviving are her sons Steve (Gayle) of Tampa, FL, Tom (Victoria) of Annapolis, MD, and Trace (Annette) of Raleigh and her grandchildren Elizabeth, Nolen, and Nicholas Barefoot and beloved niece and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 7501 Glenwood Ave., at 2pm on January 10, 2016. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Tabernacle Baptist Church.
