Betty is survived by daughters, Barbara Vestal, Debbie Zoria, Bobbie Rojas, and Rhonda Matthews; sons, Randy Matthews and Edward Matthews; and sister, Sandra Raczkines. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. Also, she will be greatly missed by special friends Ruby McClamb, Connie Smith, and Craig Groves.
Betty is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Rand Matthews.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 12, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh. There will be a Graveside Service at Historic Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, May 13 at 1:00pm.
