Bobbie Jean Best, 82, of Raleigh passed away at her residence December 11, 2014. She was born May 18, 1952 in Marion County, South Carolina a daughter of the late Eddie Harrelson and Flossie Atkinson Harrelson.
Bobbie Jean was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Raleigh. She worked for New England Life Insurance for until her retirement in 1992. Bobbie Jean enjoyed volunteering her time at Mayview Convalescent Center.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Best in 1983, her 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Bobbie Jean leaves behind her son Larry Best of Raleigh.
A time of visitation will be held from 10-11 Monday December 15, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 300 Saint Mary's St. Raleigh, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.
